A six-day fall "Canadian Connection" cruise from Kingston, Ont., to Quebec City, Que., aboard the passenger ship Canadian Empress made one thing clear: You can read all you want to about the Seaway but until you have actually experienced it in person, it's hard to comprehend its sheer size, the magnitude of the accomplishment and the natural beauty that can be found along the way.
