The Soo Locks Visitors Center Association

Located within Canal Park on Portage Avenue in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, this picturesque park and visitor center provides visitors an opportunity to experience the engineering marvel that is the Soo Locks. The Visitor Center features exhibits and videos illustrating the history and importance of the Soo Locks and Great Lakes shipping. The Soo Locks Visitors Center Association is a private non-profit organization that supports activities at the Soo Locks Visitors Center in compliance with a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Boat Watchers Log Book

The Boat Watchers Log Book is a fun, pocket-sized publication specifically designed for Great Lakes boat watchers to track their sightings of freighters, other boats and document their visits to maritime sites on all five Great Lakes. The soft-cover booklet includes photos and information about some of the most common boats seen around the Great Lakes and has room to add additional boats. Measures 4.5 inches X 5.5 inches.
